Sessions: every 1st & 3rd Tuesday each month (no meeting on 3rd Tuesday in March)
Join the club!! This is the perfect opportunity to socialize and finish those hand stitching projects. You can bring in your hand appliqué, hand piecing, embroidery work or even hand binding (knitters and crocheters welcome). The club will have minimal dues. The main idea is to get together twice a month, work on completing a project while chatting with friends. There will be no formal instruction in these sessions.

There are many approaches to quilt making, and this project is perfect for the first time quilter. Learn the basics of quilting - from fabric selection, effective use of color, rotary cutting, piecing techniques, accurate seam allowance, borders, labels, and bindings. When you are finished with this class, you will have a beautiful Triple Rail Fence pattern and the confidence to start your next project.
Supplies will also be discussed during the first class.

The same large block is made numerous times and recut in different ways to make the quilt center. It's fun to experiment with wild colors to make a quilt a bit out of the ordinary. Use some colors from your stash and add a few new colorful fabrics. Students can make 15-25 blocks for different sized wallhangings.
Two 3-hour classes.

This is a series of FOUR sessions with fiber artist and pattern designer Debra Gabel. Debra will help you zero in on a topic for your own "art quilt". This quilt will be your concept, your research, your construction and your success. The first session focuses on concept and design layout. The second is a continuation of this process and color/fabric selection as well as pattern making. The last class will focus on finishing techniques, label art and design of the back of the quilt. This is your opportunity to be guided through the concept,design, construction and finishing of you own art. This class will be limited to 8 students. NO Prerequisite of drawing required. Basic sewing machine/quilting experience needed.

Great way to learn several new techniques at a simple pace and in a class setting. This pattern has 4" & 8" blocks with various techniques from paper piecing to hand applique. We will also learn machine applique techniques and some hand piecing tricks.
